| About Dr. Karl Schippel ... Dr. Karl received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa in Ottawa Ontario, Canada in 1993. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in 1998. Dr. Schippel is Illinois Board Licensed and currently a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Association. About Dr. Annette Kutz Schippel... Dr. Annette Kutz Schippel graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1998. Within months she and her husband opened Schippel Chiropractic in the town of Jacksonville, Illinois. Her passion for pediatrics and nutrition has led to a large family practice with an emphasis on women and children, and clinical nutrition. Her reputation has brought her a continuing flow of patients from across Illinois and the U.S. and other countries. Since opening her clinic, Dr. Annette Dr. Annette has obtained countless hours of post-graduate training in pediatrics, sports health, nutrition, and phytotherapy. Her expertise on these subjects has not only contributed to the success of her holistic practice, but it has earned her the role as a respected public educator in her community. In 2002, Dr. Annette began studying Restorative EndocrinologyTM and worked as an associate of Dr. Janet Lang's from 2006 until May of 2011. She also completed two years of study under Angela Hywood, ND; completing the Tonic Austrailia teleconference series that specialized in women's health issues, and the general application of phytotherapy and whole food nutrition as they relate to other health issues. She is currently working on completing the Austrailian College of Phytotherapy course by Associate Professor, Kerry Bone, co-founder of MediHerb. More recently, she attended the 2nd annual conference for Integrative Medicine for Mental Health as part of her ongoing education. Dr. Annette consults with health care practitioners throughout the country regarding testing procedures and interpretation, the application of sound nutrition and phytotherapy, and other non-invasive methods for restoring endocrine health. She has taught about the importance of endocrine wellness in several professional seminars. Her passion and enthusiasm for teaching is evident to anyone who has ever attended one or more of her seminars! This in turn has lead to a new business venture with her sister, Dr. Doris Kutz-Compton. Calling their new business, Endocrine Wellness is most appropriate, as it truly reflects what they have shared with patients and health care practitioners for the past several years. As a natural health practitioner, you have an exciting opportunity for taking advantage of the ongoing education and support, provided by two of the most knowledgeable clinicians in the field of Endocrine Wellness today. Finally, in addition to consulting with and teaching other health practitioners, Dr. Annette continues seeing patients in Springfield and Jacksonville, IL and balances her career with the support of her loving family. She is the mother of four children with ages ranging from 12 to 23 years old, and she is especially grateful for the continuing encouragement of her biggest fan and husband; fellow chiropractor, Dr. Karl Schippel. |
Meet our Friendly Staff...
| Jessica Withee, Office Manager/Nutritional Assistant. She can help you with almost anything you might need. If you have questions, please call the office and you can speak with her. She handles appointment scheduling, assists Dr. Annette with nutrition consultations and supplements, and will be working with you directly in the office if you should choose to become a patient. If you already are a patient, then you probably know her face and have seen her pretty regularly in the office. She is here to help you or answer any questions you might have. Jean, Patient Accounts Manager/Front Desk. She answers phones, runs the front desk, handles all of our insurance billing and patient billing, among many other things.
